These Six BioProcure Clients Shine as Prix Galien USA “Best Startup” Award Nominees
When the nominees for the 2023 Prix Galien USA Awards for Best Startup were announced late this summer, it was no surprise to find a few familiar names on the list of the best and most innovative life science startups in the nation.
“We couldn’t be prouder or more excited to see these companies getting the attention and recognition they deserve,” says Vincent Bologna, CEO and Co-Founder of BioProcure. “We know the level of passion and effort they put into their work. It’s a pleasure to follow the success of our client companies as they strive to improve health outcomes worldwide.”
Included on the list of nominees for Best Startup are Affini-T Therapeutics, Ascidian Therapeutics, Cellarity, Flare Therapeutics, Generate Biomedicines, and LifeMine Therapeutics. BioProcure Supports Maddie’s Promise to Find Cures for Rare Pediatric Cancers
When she was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancerous tumor of the soft tissue, young Maddie McCoy made a promise to help others. The Maddie’s Promise charitable foundation is fulfilling that mission in Maddie’s memory by funding initiatives to study the rare pediatric cancers that are often overlooked due to lack of research funding. Since 2019, Maddie’s Promise has raised more than $300,000 to support targeted drug R&D and tumor sequencing and biobanking to personalize current treatments. BioProcure is humbled to support Maddie’s Promise, and their efforts to bring funding and attention to rare pediatric cancers.

Thank You Notes: Thoughts on Company Culture from a BioProcure Employee
Company culture is important to everyone. According to an article on Builtin.com, 88% of employees in today’s workforce and 94% of executives believe a strong company culture is the key to business success.
At BioProcure, we’ve put a lot of thought into the kind of organization and workplace we want to be. We’ve condensed our company philosophy into seven core values: Customer service excellence, teamwork, integrity, accountability, adaptability, having a can-do attitude, and being knowledgeable industry experts.
These are the core values we believe will make us the best versions of ourselves, both for our clients and our coworkers. And when one of our coworkers is excelling in any of these areas, the whole team joins together to make sure their accomplishments are recognized! Our internal Teams Kudos channel is always buzzing with compliments, feedback, and examples of how team members from across the organization have supported our clients and one another with positivity and excellence.
Recently one team member went a step farther with a hand-written thank you note to co-founders Vincent Bologna and Laura Stack. She gave us permission to share this note with you. Her letter speaks volumes about our leadership team, but in our opinion it says even more about the kind, caring, and exceptional person who took the time to go above and beyond to offer such a lovely gesture of appreciation. Yet another example proving that BioProcure has the very best people you could ever hope to meet.
